Karelia-Upofloor Oy is Finland's leading manufacturer of floorings. Our main products are hardwood floorings and resilient floorings. As a parquet flooring manufacturer we are one of Europe's largest. As a producer of resilient floorings we are an important company in the Nordic countries and the only Finnish manufacturer.
Karelia-Upofloor Oy is a Finnish family company whose main shareholder is the Hartwall family.
Karelia-Upofloor Oy consists of the parent company Karelia-Upofloor Oy, engaged in the production and marketing of Karelia and Upofloor hardwood floorings, as well as its solely-owned subsidiaries: Upofloor Oy engaged in the production and marketing of Upofloor resilient floorings, the Russian hardwood flooring factory LLC Karelia-Upofloor CIS and the Romanian hardwood flooring factory S.C. Karelia-Upofloor S.R.L. The group has four production facilities in Finland and a sales office in Estonia.
Exports account for approximately 60% of turnover volume. The group's products are exported to about 40 countries through an international distribution network. The main markets are Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the USA.
Net sales in 2009 totalled EUR 89,5 million and the Group employed 760 persons.
